Cloth covers us and keeps us warm, it decorates our home, and it helps keeps us cozy on cold winter nights. Cloth also holds onto memories, both large and small. My wedding dress brings back memories of hot weather and butterflies in my stomach.

Milk fiber is a relatively new fiber with a lot of potential. In her Yarn Lab in Handwoven November/December 2017 Liz Moncrief wove samples using this yarn.

I’ve noticed that weavers also have a unique way of greeting each other. It usually starts with the “weaver’s handshake."
