To be a “Designer” of handwovens, you don’t have to be able to draw, you don’t have to be “good” with color, and you don’t have to have years of experience or classes in an art school.
You would like Sara Lamb the minute you met her. She approaches weaving with her head and her whole heart.
For me, weaving is always an adventure, sometimes because I head off into uncharted territory and sometimes because I end up in unintended places. But some weaves are adventures in themselves.
