This overshot table runner was inspired by one of Martin Brenneman’s coverlets. Weave this 4-shaft project that is bound to make a statement in your kitchen or living room.

Weave Structure: Overshot.

Equipment:

  • 4-shaft loom, 19" weaving width
  • 12-dent reed
  • 2 shuttles

Yarns:

  • Warp: 10/2 pearl cotton (4,200 yd/lb, UKI), #75 Cobalt Blue and #135 Jade Green, 511 yd each.
  • Tabby weft: 10/2 pearl cotton, Cobalt Blue, 450 yd.
  • Pattern weft: 8/2 wool (2,240 yd/lb, JaggerSpun), Bittersweet, 425 yd.
