Weave Together with Handwoven 2026 is almost here—it’s happening March 8–12, 2026, in Loveland, Colorado. We’ve had a few questions about what the retreat is like, how to get there, whether there are any hidden costs, and so on. Here are some answers!

What’s it Like to Attend Weave Together?
Imagine being immersed in the company of weavers where you’re all spending your days learning about some type of weaving. Concerns from everyday life fade away as you dive into new skills, see inspiring work, and talk weaving from morning to night. If that all sounds dreamy, we can assure you that it truly is—and it’s what you’ll experience at Weave Together. Weaving is something we all usually do alone. It’s different at this retreat, where you’ll feel a strong sense of community with others who share your interests.

The Weave Together group is large enough to include weavers with a wide range of experience and interests, while also being intimate enough so you can easily make new friends or renew old ties. And because everything is in one place, you won’t need to travel far between classes, meals, and your room.
If you think you’re too much of a beginner to fit in, think again! Even if you have no weaving experience, you’ll find classes right at your level and a community of experienced weavers ready to welcome you into the fold.

What Happens in the Evenings?
After dinner (and good conversations with other weavers, editors, and instructors around the table), here’s how we’ll wind up the day.
On Monday, you’ll hear from a special group of guests in our Keynote Panel Discussion. Expect to hear engaging tales about weaving from pillars of the community, all moderated by Long Thread Media’s Anne Merrow. If you’ve listened to her podcasts, you know that Anne always asks a good question and gets an interesting answer.

On Tuesday, we’ll have a Sip and Shop Night where you can enjoy special drinks and treats as you stock up on weaving goodies—and you may even win a door prize. While you can (and should!) browse the marketplace throughout the retreat, Sip and Shop Night is always extremely popular.
On Wednesday, you can share your weaving with everyone in our Show and Tell session. Don’t be shy—we just want to see what you’ve been up to, whether it’s finished or not. Bring a piece you’ve woven recently, or something you worked on during the week in class. Ok, we’ll probably want to touch your work, too, because we’re all weavers and that’s just what we do!
How Do I Get There from the Airport?
There’s no need to rent a car or take a pricy Uber or Lyft from the airport. You can hop on an easy and reliable shuttle service that will drop you off at the hotel’s front door. Shuttles run hourly, so you don’t need to worry about working around flight times. Learn more and make a reservation.
Are There Any Additional Costs?
After you arrive at Weave Together, everything is included. There are no extra charges for your accommodations, classes, meals, evening events, or marketplace access during the retreat. (Of course, you’re on your own when it comes to any shopping you do in the marketplace…)
What Will I Need to Bring?
Although you should bring along your own loom if you’re able to, don’t worry if you can’t manage that—we’ll arrange to borrow some locally at no charge to you. All materials are provided for some classes, while for others you’ll need to bring along tools and supplies. You can learn about materials here. Just click the Loom Needed and Required Supplies dropdowns under each class description for all the details.
We hope that helps! If you have any other questions about Weave Together 2026, please send them our way.
