There is nothing quite like silk, especially when worn next to the skin. For her scarf, Laura Fry took Marguerite Porter Davison’s four-shaft Wall of Troy draft and expanded it to sixteen shafts.

STRUCTURE: Twill. EQUIPMENT: 16-shaft loom, 11" weaving width; 10-dent reed; 1 shuttle. YARNS: Gemstone 2/12 Silk (100% silk; 2,800 yd/lb; Halcyon). FINISHED SIZE: 9" x 74" with 5" fringe.
