Peter's Apron a la Macaron Weaving Pattern

Inspired by the colors of beautiful French macarons, this delightful apron and towels set will inspire you to spend more time in the kitchen. Weave a matching inkle band using the instructions in the project or buy one to match at a fabric or craft store.

Apron and Towel:

Structure: Twill with modified goose eye

Loom Type: 4-shaft loom

Finished Dimensions: Apron 25¼" × 32½"; towel 15½" (warp-wise) × 23¾"

Warp: 8/2 unmercerized cotton (3,360 yd/lb; Yarn Barn), #47 Copen Blue, 300 yd; 8/2 unmercerized cotton (Webs), # 5792 Lime and #5604 Willow Green, 300 yd each; 8/2 unmercerized cotton (UKI), Magenta, 300 yd; Beige, and Lavender, 306 yd each.

Weft: 8/2 cotton, Dark Teal, 886 yd; Lavender, 102 yd; Copen Blue, Lime, Willow Green, Magenta, and Beige, 68 yd each.
