LoginA rosepath threading and weft yarns in shades of reds, pinks, and blues combine in a rug that evokes a floral design.
Designer Lynn Schuster was inspired by a project in Handwoven for the most beautiful boundweave rug that she had ever seen. It was threaded in a four-harness rosepath, and had diamond and flame motifs surrounded by solid colors. The colors combined with the patterns popped; this rug had so much life! For her rug, Lynn worked with colored pencils on graph paper, creating contrasts in value, size, and color until her design was balanced and satisfying.
