LoginThis modern, textured wall hanging is so full of movement and color, you’ll want to reach out and pinch one of the little yarn “mountains!” Chunky tassels at the bottom add a playful and eye-catching finish.
Designer Dana Lutz wondered: What would happen if she took a traditional overshot draft (Strickler #419) and plumped it up? She wanted to push the boundaries of the structure, introducing bulky, color-shifting yarns to create something really bold and dimensional. She fell in love with the irresistibly squishy texture and vibrant, often unpredictable colorways of Spincycle Yarns’ Plump yarn line. Watching in anticipation as the colors change while the yarn works up is half the fun! It comes in a wide range of colorways, making this pattern highly customizable—or weave it to showcase some of your own handspun yarn, turning it into a striking art piece for your home.
