LoginIf your current stage of weaving involves downsizing your looms or your stash, these scarves are the perfect project—they can be woven on a four-shaft loom that is no more than 12 inches wide.
Using a stash of partial skeins left over from previous silk projects, Robin Wilton developed a strategy for using a wide range of colors to weave cloth that feels cohesive. She started with a base color for the warp, added accent stripes, and carried those same colors into the weft to add visual interest.
Even if your stash isn’t full of silk, you can use her methods to make your own limited-yardage treasures shine in these simply lovely striped scarves.

Woven length: (measured under tension on the loom) 65" per scarf; 130" total plus 13" interstitial fringe.
