These textured towels in 4-shaft M's and O's are durable, absorbent, and most importantly, fun to weave. M's and O's is a great structure for exploring and playing with your own colors!

Materials required and other weaving information:

  • Equipment needed: 4- or 6-shaft loom, 25" weaving width, 10-dent heddle, 2 shuttles * Finished Dimensions: 6 towels, 20" x 29"
  • Yarns: WARP: 8/2 unmercerized cotton (3,360 yd/lb), Gray #1, 1,316 yd (6 1/3 oz); Mustard #36, 987 yd (4 ¾ oz) oz); Rust #42, 832 yd (4 1/3 oz); and Silver #4, 224 yd (1 1/12 oz). WEFT: 8/2 unmercerized cotton, 555 total yd (22⁄3 oz) per towel. 10/2 cotton (4,200 yd/lb) for hems, gray, 12 yd per towel.
