Over the past few months, Christina and I have been talking about themes for Handwoven and Easy Weaving with Little Looms 2023. It may seem bit early to some of you, but in January we typically send out our editorial calendars for the next year. For us, the current year, 2022, is planned and well under way. Some of it is even out the door and with the printer.
We believe we have come up with a year of magazines that will inspire and encourage you to submit proposals for articles and projects. If you’ve ever thought about what it would be like to have your work in a magazine, now’s the time to give it a shot! If you are a regular contributor, or a past contributor, welcome back.
Check out the basic themes below and then download both the Little Looms and the Handwoven calendars and let your creativity engines start reving up.
Please note that we develop palettes for the issues during the year. They are sent out when we send out the calls for submissions.
Here are the basic themes for 2023 for the two magazines.
